Slow Weight Loss - Rosemary's Question Time

I'm only losing a pound a week. It seems very slow compared to some of the weight loss success stories I read in the magazine and see on this channel and now I'm getting disheartened. What should I do?

Good points and sensible advice Rosemary. But surely 1 lb a week is a good steady rate of weight loss? I am beginning to think that I am on a mission to say that it is fine to lose weight slowly. Unless you have urgent health problems from being overweight, what is the rush? I am losing weight much more slowly than 1 lb a week and I am very happy with my progress as it means that I can embed new healthy eating and exercise habits in my day to day life, so making it far more likely that these habits will become normal and long lasting.
