Agave mustard brussel sprouts

Ingredients

  • 600g brussel sprouts
  • 2 tbsps Agave syrup
  • 2 tsps grain mustard
  • freshly grated nutmeg
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. Remove the loose outer leaves from the sprouts and make a small nick in the stalk. Cook in lightly salted boiling water until just tender. Strain well and return to the pan adding Agave syrup and mustard.
  2. Season with salt, pepper and freshly grated nutmeg. Pile into a warm serving dish and serve.
