Ingredients

  • 100g flaked rice
  • 300ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 200g strawberries, chopped into small pieces

Cooking Instructions

  1. Place the flaked rice, semi-skimmed milk and sugar in a saucepan and heat for 5 minutes, gently stirring to prevent any lumps forming.
  2. Chop 200g starwberries into small pieces. When the rice has absorbed all the milk and is soft (after about 10 minutes), stir in the strawberries.
  3. Transfer to serving dishes and serve hot or cold.

Tips

Adding the strawberries after the rice has cooked gives a strong fruity flavour.
