Strawberry flaked rice

Ingredients
- 100g flaked rice
- 300ml semi-skimmed milk
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 200g strawberries, chopped into small pieces
Cooking Instructions
- Place the flaked rice, semi-skimmed milk and sugar in a saucepan and heat for 5 minutes, gently stirring to prevent any lumps forming.
- Chop 200g starwberries into small pieces. When the rice has absorbed all the milk and is soft (after about 10 minutes), stir in the strawberries.
- Transfer to serving dishes and serve hot or cold.
Tips
Adding the strawberries after the rice has cooked gives a strong fruity flavour.
