Ingredients
- 4 large red plums
- 1 red portion pot/250ml red wine
- 1 tbsp muscovado sugar
- 1 tsp allspice berries
- 1 star anise
Cooking Instructions
- Cut the plums in half and remove the centre stones.
- Place the plums in a saucepan with the remaining ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes until the fruit is soft.
- Once soft, remove from the pan and continue to reduce the cooking liquor until it's the consistency of a light syrup.
- Arrange on plates and serve either warm or cold with low-fat yogurt.
