Ingredients

  • 1 Sharon fruit
  • 1 tsp dark brown sugar
  • juice of ½ lime
  • lime zest, to decorate
  • raspberry sauce, to serve

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to high.
  2. Remove the top from the fruit and cut the fruit in half.
  3. Place on a baking tray, sprinkle the sugar over and drizzle with the lime juice. Place under the grill for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Decorate with the lime zest and serve hot with the raspberry sauce.

Tips

Use the very ripe Sharon fruit, as the riper the fruit the sweeter the flavour

I came here to look for sharon fruit. Why is this called Sharon Fruit when it is clearly papaya and the chef even says papaya in the video?
