Ingredients
- 225g plain flour
- 120g soft brown sugar
- 80g Flora lighter than light
- 1 tbsp golden syrup
- 1 tsp ground ginger
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200C, 400F, Gas Mark 6. Place all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl and blend together with a wooden spoon. Do not over mix, when all the ingredients come together, press into a ball and wrap in cling film.
- Chill for 10 minutes.
- Roll out on a floured board and cut into shapes. Bake in a preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until lightly browned. While still hot make a small hole at the top of each biscuit with a wooden skewer. Allow to cool, then thread with ribbon.
