Easy Apple Crumble

This traditional British pud is lovely with any fruit but this classic recipe uses English Bramley apples. Whatever fruit you use, though, the great thing about this low-fat topping is that it bakes to a lovely short, crumbly crispness that is almost crunchy. 174 calories 1.9% fat

  • 100g plain flour
  • 70g low-fat spread
  • 2 tbsps caster sugar

Hello, Just to let you know I have just made mini carrot muffins using the recipe in the latest magazine. It stated 280g low fat spread in the recipe and my muffins are like soggy flapjack. Just checked the website and find should only have been 80g low fat spread. OH DEAR. Will try again using correct amount of spread. Regards Jacqui
