Strawberry freezer jam

Ingredients
- 500g Strawberries, mashed
- 800g Caster Sugar
- 3 tbsps lemon juice
- ½ x 250g bottle Certo Pectin apple extract
Cooking Instructions
- Place the strawberries in a bowl and mash with a fork.
- Stir in the caster sugar, lemon juice and Certo pectin apple extract until combined.
- Transfer to a large freezer container, cover and freeze for 12 hours until set.
- Remove from the freezer and divide between smaller freezer containers, then cover and re-freeze until ready to use (it will keep for 6 months).
- Defrost overnight in the refrigerator before using.
