Strawberry freezer jam

Ingredients

  • 500g Strawberries, mashed
  • 800g Caster Sugar
  • 3 tbsps lemon juice
  • ½ x 250g bottle Certo Pectin apple extract

Cooking Instructions

  1. Place the strawberries in a bowl and mash with a fork.
  2. Stir in the caster sugar, lemon juice and Certo pectin apple extract until combined.
  3. Transfer to a large freezer container, cover and freeze for 12 hours until set.
  4. Remove from the freezer and divide between smaller freezer containers, then cover and re-freeze until ready to use (it will keep for 6 months).
  5. Defrost overnight in the refrigerator before using.
