Spiced baked chickpeas

Ingredients

  • 1 x 400g can chickpeas
  • 1 tbsp Garam masala
  • 1 tbsp soft brown sugar
  • cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsps raisins

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C, 400F, Gas Mark 6.
  2. Drain the can of chickpeas well and place on a non-stick baking tray.
  3. Mix together 1 tbsp Garam masala and 1 tbsp soft brown sugar and sprinkle over the chickpeas and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
  4. Dust with cayenne pepper and serve in bowls mixed with 2 tbsps raisins.

Tips

Serve these spicy low-fat treats warm.
