Ingredients
- 450g asparagus
- 4 slices extra-thin ham
- 4 chicory leaves
- 300ml semi-skimmed milk, plus a little extra for slaking
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 40g Rosemary Conley's Less Than 5% Fat Mature Cheese, grated
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200C, 400F, Gas Mark 6.
- Blanch the asparagus, then divide into 4 bundles and wrap each bundle in a slice of ham.
- Place each bundle in a chicory leaf.
- Heat the milk. Slake the cornflour with a little extra milk and add to the hot milk to thicken it.
- Spoon the sauce over the bundles and top with the cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
