A low fat sandwich version of the classic American hot pizza using pickled chillies and low fat mozzarella. A lovely crunchy base with a spicy kick and tangy taste. 333 calories per portion.

Ingredients

  • 72g slice (one quarter) ciabatta bread
  • 100g Arabiatta pasta sauce
  • 30g wafer-thin ham
  • 4-5 slices pickled chillies
  • 30g half-fat mozzarella
  • few basil leaves for decoration

Cooking Instructions

  1. Place the ciabatta on a non-stick baking tray and toast, either under a hot grill or in a preheated 200C, 400F, Gas Mark 6 oven.
  2. Spread the base with the pasta sauce and top with the remaining ingredients, finishing with the mozzarella, torn into strands.
  3. Return the ciabatta to the grill or oven until hot and melted.
  4. Decorate with a few basil leaves and serve warm.
