Ingredients
- 2 tuna steaks
- salad leaves
- 10g Rosemary Conley's Less Than 5% Fat Mature Cheese, grated
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- FOR THE SALAD DRESSING
- 2 tbsps low-fat yogurt
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 tsp white wine vinegar
- FOR THE GARNISH
- 2 limes, cut into quarters
- fresh chives
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat a non-stick griddle pan or health grill.
- Season the tuna steaks with salt and black pepper. Cook the steaks quickly for 2-3 minutes on each side in a griddle pan or for 3 minutes in a health grill.
- Place the salad leaves in a bowl. To make the dressing, mix the yogurt, garlic and vinegar together in a bowl. Pour over the salad leaves, add the grated cheese and toss well.
- Arrange the salad on 2 plates, place the tuna steaks on top, and then garnish with the lime quarters and a few fresh chives. Serve straight away.
Tips
This recipe also works well with lightly smoked fresh salmon.
