Ingredients

  • 2 tuna steaks
  • salad leaves
  • 10g Rosemary Conley's Less Than 5% Fat Mature Cheese, grated
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • FOR THE SALAD DRESSING
  • 2 tbsps low-fat yogurt
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 tsp white wine vinegar
  • FOR THE GARNISH
  • 2 limes, cut into quarters
  • fresh chives

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat a non-stick griddle pan or health grill.
  2. Season the tuna steaks with salt and black pepper. Cook the steaks quickly for 2-3 minutes on each side in a griddle pan or for 3 minutes in a health grill.
  3. Place the salad leaves in a bowl. To make the dressing, mix the yogurt, garlic and vinegar together in a bowl. Pour over the salad leaves, add the grated cheese and toss well.
  4. Arrange the salad on 2 plates, place the tuna steaks on top, and then garnish with the lime quarters and a few fresh chives. Serve straight away.

Tips

This recipe also works well with lightly smoked fresh salmon.
