Ingredients

  • 600ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 3 tsps arrowroot
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tsp vegetable stock powder
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 300g fresh tagliatelle
  • 1 vegetable stock cube
  • 1 x 234g pack cooked mixed seafood (mussels, prawns, squid)
  • freshly ground black pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. Heat the milk in a saucepan. Slake the arrowroot with a little extra cold milk and whisk into the hot milk. Stir in the chives, stock powder and mustard.
  2. Cook the pasta in a large pan of boiling water with the vegetable stock cube - fresh pasta should only take 5 minutes or so - then drain and transfer to warm serving plates.
  3. Add the seafood to the sauce and heat through, then spoon the sauce over the pasta.

Tips

Add the seafood to the sauce at the last minute so it doesn't overcook.
