Pork in Spicy Yogurt Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 x 100g lean pork steaks
  • 8 tbsps low-fat natural yogurt
  • 1 tbsp mild curry powder
  • 2 tbsps mango chutney
  • 1 red chilli, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh mint
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to high.
  2. Remove any visible fat from the pork steaks. Place the steaks in a shallow heatproof dish.
  3. Combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl to make the sauce. Spread both sides of the pork steaks with the sauce and place under a hot grill for 8-10 minutes each side.
  4. While the steaks are under the grill, cook the rice in a pan of boiling water with the vegetable stock cube added, then drain.
  5. Serve the steaks with 1 blue Portion Pot® (55g dry weight) boiled basmati rice and a mixed salad.

Loved this very easy to make and extremely tasty but note that you don't give an oven temperature although you say to pop into a preheated oven. I did grill it but I think I would prefer to put into oven especially if making it for more than two persons. Can you give oven temperatures please?
