Pork and sage burgers

Ingredients
- 400g minced pork
- 2 tsps vegetable stock powder
- 2 eating apples, grated
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh sage
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- 1 red pepper, deseeded and finely chopped
- freshly ground black pepper
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat the grill to high.
- Put all the ingredients in a bowl, mix well to combine and season with black pepper. Divide into 4 and mould into burgers, squashing flat with your hand.
- Cook the burgers under the hot grill for 10-15 minutes, turning regularly.
- Test they are cooked through to the centre by inserting a knife-if the blade comes out clean, the meat is cooked.
- Serve with salad and tomato salsa.
Tips
Thread whole sage leaves in between meats and vegetables on skewers to make kebabs.
