Mustard beef burgers

Ingredients
- 400g extra lean minced beef
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tsp freeze-dried fine herbs
- 1-2 tsps vegetable stock powder
- 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
Cooking Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and combine well with a wooden spoon.
- Divide the mixture into 4 and use your hands to mould into burger shapes, then flatten them slightly with your palms. Cover with food wrap and place in the refrigerator to chill for 30 minutes.
- Preheat a barbecue or grill. Cook the burgers for 20 minutes, turning them every 5 minutes until cooked through.
- Before serving, cut one of the burgers in half to check the centre is cooked. Serve with a salad of your choice.
