Ingredients
- 400g thin steak
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 1 red pepper, deseeded and finely sliced
- 2 sticks celery
- For the marinade
- 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Chinese rice wine or dry sherry
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
Cooking Instructions
- Slice the beef into strips and place in a bowl.
- Mix together the marinade ingredients and pour over the beef. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
- Heat a non-stick pan, dry fry the onion until soft before adding the pepper and celery. Cook for 1-2 minutes then add the beef and toss together until the beef is cooked to your liking.
- Serve hot with rice or noodles.
