Ingredients
- 1 gammon steak, approx 100g
- For the salsa
- 1 beef tomato, finely diced
- 2 spring onions, finely diced
- zest and juice of 1 lime
- ½ tsp chopped fresh ginger
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat the grill to high.
- Trim any visible fat from the gammon steak, then grill the steak for 20 minutes, turning it regularly during cooking.
- Meanwhile, mix the salsa ingredients together in a bowl. Pour into a saucepan and heat.
- Serve the gammon steak with the salsa plus 150g boiled new potatoes (with skins) and unlimited other vegetables.
