Ingredients

  • 4 x 150g rump steaks
  • 16 chestnut mushrooms
  • 100g tomato passata
  • 2 tsps balti curry paste
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat a health grill or a conventional grill to high.
  2. Cut the beef into bite-sized pieces. Thread the beef and mushrooms alternately on to wooden skewers.
  3. Mix together the passata and curry paste and spread on the beef.
  4. Cook the kebabs for 10 minutes under the hot grill or for 5-6 minutes on a health grill.
  5. Check that the the centre pieces of meat are cooked. When ready to serve, sprinkle with the coriander.
  6. Serve with boiled rice or noodles and salad.

Tips

Use lean beef steaks of equal thickness so that they cook evenly.
