I strongly disagree with the implication in this video clip that yoghurt drinks with plant sterols don't lower cholesterol. My cholesterol has been 6.7 for years. Within 6 months of taking a daily cholesterol yoghurt drink my cholesterol fell 10% to 6.1. My dieting was the same, my weight the same, my levels of exercise the same. They do work and I would rather take a daily yoghurt drink than a statin tablet. Of course I should also be reviewing my diet for types of fat consumed and I'm continueing to try and lose weight as that will lower my cholesterol levels probably more than the yoghurt drink. The trouble is, dieting is much harder than having a daily yoghurt drink.
