Dr Hilary on... Loose Skin

I have lost 7½ stone and am very very happy! I went to my GP about the saggy skin on my thighs and arms and he told me I'd only be eligible for surgery if I was clinically depressed. Why can't happy people have surgery too? Dr Hilary Jones answers a viewers question about loose skin left behind after weight loss.

I appreciate that Dr Hilary says that the NHS has to be careful where they spend money, but it's a shame that those that loose the weight for themselves have less help than those that do absolutely nothing and then go for a gastric band op on the NHS!
I dont think I would consider having my skin removed but ....
